Bring the spirit of Bengaluru City into your home with this illustration of Bengaluru’s signature landmark- Vidhan Soudha to take you down memory lane.

Vidhana Soudha, iconic seat of Karnataka legislature, has not only retained much of its original grandeur but has inspired similar structures elsewhere. Around 5,000 labourers, 1,500 chiselers, masons and wood carvers worked for almost five years (1951-1956) to complete the structure that is spread over 60 acres in the heart of Bengaluru. The structure was inspired by multiple styles of architecture, including Dravidian, Indo-Islamic and British styles, and was built largely with Bangalore Granite, Magadi Pink and Turvekere Black stones excavated from areas around Bengaluru. Vidhana Soudha was also a symbol representing democracy as against the monarchy that existed earlier.

Have fun while you reflect and reminisce on your favorite memories of your beloved city. This Bengaluru souvenir is a perfect decor for homes and offices and is a number one gift choice for Indian souvenirs and travel mementos!
