Inspired by the Indian tribal life and delicately handmade in Brass, the tribal ladies reading books while lying down or sitting on a charpai or cot is made with love by our tribal artisans from the interiors of Odisha. The figurines tell a saga of rich cultural heritage and legacy of primitive metal craft. You can enhance look of your study table, work table in your home, offices etc.

The artifacts represent an ancient Indian tribal brass craft known as Dhokra which dates back to pre-historic times of the Harrappa and Mohenjodaro Civilizations. Dhokra is made with non–ferrous metal casting using the lost-wax casting technique with an alloy of nickel, brass and zinc. Using the same technique of the unique 13 stage process of Dhokra / Bell metal making the tribal families of Odisha cast the figures of gods and goddesses, lamps, boxes, ornaments and other utility objects.
