It is performed during the winter (in mid-December to mid-January) and dedicated to the ‘Folk Goddess - Tusu’. The worshippers pray to the goddess for overwhelming wealth and happiness of their household. The festival is mainly about the collection of songs sung by the unmarried girls during the nights, throughout the month of Poush.
