Design Inspiration:

The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) is an expendable medium-lift launch vehicle designed and operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It was developed to allow India to launch its Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) satellites into sun-synchronous orbits, a service that was, until the advent of the PSLV in 1993, commercially available only from Russia. PSLV can also launch small size satellites into Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO).

Craft Story:

This handcrafted product is made by artisans of Channapatna Woodcraft, craft that has existed since the 1700s near Bangalore in Karnataka. Said to have originated in Persia, Tipu Sultan got local artisans from around Channapatana to learn and develop it, originally to make toys.

These handcrafted wooden crafts are made using traditional, turned lacquer ware techniques and are coloured using natural dyes. These products are absolutely eco friendly and non hazardous. These products are made using locally available soft wood called Ale Mara, natural lacquer and vegetable dyes like turmeric, spinach and indigo. The toys are made with great attention to quality and safety.

Model-Not upto mark

The rocket model make is ok There should have been name of ISRO in bold on main Rocket part and PSLV name on some other part We buy it out of our interest in ISRO and as a feel of proudness in our minds about Chandrayan etc.Any toy maker from a village would have made it easily at a lower price. I wish some thousands do prepare and sell at every village.
