Khunn Fabric Toran Ganesha 42"
A Toran is tied on the door of a home and temple to please and attract the divine energy of Goddess Lakshmi. As torans have been a symbol of prosperity and wealth since ancient times, these will surely fill your living spaces with goodwill and gaiety.
Ochre or a saffrony orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation. It is also a pious colour of marigolds that are used in most of our Indian festivals and weddings.
The toran has 9 fabric leaves. Three slots on the loop on either sides allows to adjust and get the toran to fit perfectly to the nails affixed for your toran. Fits any regular door size.
The traditional Toran is presented here in Khunn fabric, passionately woven by weavers from Ilkal in Karnataka and a distinctive part of the identity of rural women of north Karnataka, and parts of adjoining Maharashtra.
