Say no to plastic bottles. This digitally printed Copper Water Bottle with inspiration from the National Defence Academy (NDA) is an ideal corporate gifting optionAncient Indian wisdom has for long advocated the benefits of drinking water stored overnight in copper vessels. It benefits your health by making your water alkaline while protecting the planet by eradicating one more plastic bottle.

According to Ayurveda, water stored in a copper vessel has the ability to balance all the three doshas in your body, (vata, kapha and pitta) and it does so by positively charging the water. Storing water in a copper vessel works as a purification process. It can kill all the microorganisms like molds, fungi, algae and bacteria, present in the water that could be harmful for the body. It also helps maintain body’s pH (acid-alkaline) balance. There are also numerous health benefits that have been attributed to drinking water stored in copper bottles.

How to Use:

Just fill this bottle and leave it for minimum of 3 hours, best if kept overnight (8 hrs) as the water gets copper properties and its benefits during this time.

Care Instruction:

Clean the bottle daily before filling. To clean copper bottle from the inside, add 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 cup of water in it. Close the lid and shake the mixture thoroughly. Clean inside of the bottle with a soft brush. Do not use a hard brush on the design area. Do not expose to sunlight or direct heat. Handle with care, wipe clean with a soft cloth. Not microwaveable or dishwasher safe.

Craft History:

This product is rendered by artisans of the Tambat Metalcraft, Pune, Maharashtra. The legacy of the Tambat Craftspeople dates to the 17th century when they were invited to Pune by the Peshwas after Shivaji set up the city as the capital city of the Maratha Empire. 'Matharkaam' or beaten work is the distinguishing feature of Tambat craft.

History of NDA:

The National Defence Academy (NDA) has the unique distinction of being the first
institution in the world to impart joint training to officer cadets of the Army, Navy and Air Force. The concept and genesis of NDA dates back to the period before
Independence and evolved from the lessons learnt from World War II.
